Become a Professional Leader of Volunteers

The Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Program for Professional Leaders of Volunteers is a formal avenue to improve your knowledge, skills and future employability. Endorsed by Volunteering Australia the CPD Program is currently offered by State and Territory Volunteering Peak Bodies across Australia.

As a participant in the CPD Program you will be:

• awarded a formal certification and the right to have Professional Leaders of Volunteers (PLV) after your name
• inspired to up-skill and gain more knowledge
• able to promote your point of difference to current and future employers
• Be recognised for the learning you are already doing or planning to undertake.

CPD points are accumulated from a combination of participating in professional development activities, events or services; reading relevant industry articles and newsletters; mentoring colleagues; or reflecting on individual practice.
